"Mauldin High Teacher Cadets put on a spectacular Read Around the Christmas Tree celebration for more than 160 kindergartners from Mauldin Elementary! The cadets decorated Christmas trees to match the theme of the books they read to each group, and the kindergartners enjoyed cookies and juice with Santa Mav. Special guests included Olaf, Anna and Elsa, and Captain America. A big thank you to Horizon Church Children’s Ministry for providing the characters, and to Barnes and Noble Greenridge for donating more than 300 books to give away.
